Zac Skinner was 18 when he left on a train to London with one acoustic guitar and no plan except to make music. He ended up bartending in New Cross and Millwall pubs, building a home studio in a Brentford flatshare, writing everything that would become Soul Boy II. The Skinner Brothers formed in 2018. No label. No manager. Claira Skinner — Zac's wife — runs the whole operation. Tour management, press, merch, the lot. One family, doing it their own way.
In 2024 they went masked on stage — faces gone, music louder. The SB Family didn't flinch. They've toured with Kasabian, The Streets, and The Libertines. November 2026 they headline Electric Ballroom, Camden. They got there without anyone's permission.
